Khrystyna Kirik is a sound and media artist based in Berlin. Her practice explores how hyper-ambience shapes our perception of the world and how natural territories can be translated into embodied experience. Through live performances, installations, and workshops, she approaches listening as an active practice, combining voice, field recordings, found-object instrumentation, and electronics.

She develops site- and context-driven projects. Recent works include a collaboration with Mark Bain, as well as a project with u2203 studio and ecologist Anna Kuzemko examining natural territories affected by the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Her work has been presented at CTM Festival, Conflux Festival, Kantine am Berghain, and ∄ (Kyiv’s K41), among others. She was part of the SHAPE+ catalogue 2024–25. Her music has been released on Standard Deviation and Flaming Pines.

Beyond her solo practice, she has created space for collective making through Sound→box and the Found Object Residency — workshops dedicated to building unconventional instruments and sound objects.
